Cannubi by Umberto Bombana
About This Experience
Cannubi opened with the relaunched Dusit Thani Bangkok and immediately became the first Italian restaurant in Thailand to hold a MICHELIN star (one star in the 2026 guide). The kitchen is led by chef Andrea Susto, with Hong-Kong-based three-star chef Umberto Bombana — of 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana — overseeing the menu direction.
The menu is unmistakably Bombana: Piedmontese roots, generous use of Italian seasonal produce (white truffle in season, Sicilian seafood, Lombard cheeses), and a deep, unfussy classical technique. The dining room sits on the lower floors of the new Dusit Thani tower, with a wine bar attached for aperitivo and grappa service.
One MICHELIN star, awarded in 2026.
