IGNIV Bangkok
About This Experience
IGNIV (Romansh for 'nest') was conceived by Andreas Caminada, who runs a three-MICHELIN-star kitchen at Schloss Schauenstein in the Swiss mountains. Bangkok was the first international IGNIV when it opened on the ground floor of the St. Regis in 2020, and head chef Arne Riehn now runs the kitchen.
The concept inverts conventional fine dining. Instead of plated individual courses, guests work through a series of shared dishes — small bites, mains, sides, sweets — designed for the table. The technique is full Swiss-French haute cuisine; the format is closer to a long Sunday lunch with friends. Wine pairings draw on the IGNIV cellar in Bad Ragaz.
The room itself is one of the warmer corners of the St. Regis, with a quietly stylish dining counter facing the kitchen. One MICHELIN star.
