Samrub Samrub Thai
About This Experience
Chef Prin Polsuk spent years as Thompson's senior lieutenant at Nahm before opening Samrub Samrub Thai with his wife Thanyaporn 'Mint' Jarukittikun. The name refers to the traditional Thai 'samrub' — a coordinated set of dishes meant to be eaten together over rice.
The restaurant occupies a small, white, four-storey renovated house just off Soi Yommarat. Each evening's menu is a single samrub: a curry, a stir-fry, a salad, a soup, a relish, all balanced against each other and against the rice. The format is austere by design, and Prin pushes regional dishes that wouldn't normally make it onto a fine-dining menu.
Bookings are run almost entirely through Line and Instagram DMs in addition to TableCheck. One MICHELIN star.
